Blood-heavy, epic and unapologetically violent, this animated feature follows the story of a young man who stole forbidden knowledge from a sacred plant. As the dark forces slowly overpower him, the young man becomes a threat to the mankind; luckily, there are many out there ready to confront him. This blood-soaked and timeless adventure is also a poetic, magical and noble fantasy story, stylistically (both) honoring Ralph Bakshi and invoking the iconic Heavy Metal. To complete the atmosphere of an epic fantasy, the lead is voiced by none other than Lucy Lawless, who gained fame by playing Xena, the Warrior Princess.
