The first film in the forever-beloved Star Wars film series and fourth chronological chapter of the "Skywalker Saga" is coming to Tuškanac Summer stage. The story follows a group of freedom fighters known as the Rebel Alliance and Luke Skywalker, who aim to destroy the tyrannical Galactic Empire's newest weapon, the Death Star.
Lucas had the idea for this science-fiction film for a long time but even the cast and crew believed it would be a failure. Lucas never gave up and the film quickly became a blockbuster hit, leading to it being expanded to a full blown release. Today, it is probably not possible to say “Star Wars” without sparking a conversation. This film not only won 6 Oscars, but also initiated a cultural phenomenon unmet to this day.
George Lucas is one of the most financially successful film directors, besides being a producer, screenwriter, and entrepreneur.
